Data Centers Project

The Data Centers project involved developing comprehensive BIM models from LOD 100 to LOD 350 for critical infrastructure facilities. Our multidisciplinary team created detailed architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) models with rigorous clash detection and coordination protocols. The project included development of site infrastructure models to ensure seamless integration of building systems with external utilities and support facilities.

Multi-Discipline BIM Coordination

Data centers represent some of the most complex building types, requiring precise coordination between multiple disciplines to ensure uninterrupted operations. Our team developed integrated BIM models spanning architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, and ELV systems, with particular attention to cooling efficiency, power distribution, and redundancy requirements. The LOD 350 models provided the detailed information necessary for accurate clash detection and resolution across all building systems.

  • Multi-discipline BIM modeling from LOD 100 to LOD 350
  • Comprehensive clash detection across all building systems
  • Interdisciplinary coordination for critical infrastructure
  • Development of detailed site infrastructure models
  • HVAC system optimization for cooling efficiency
  • Electrical and ELV system integration
  • Mission-critical facility planning and documentation
  • Redundancy and backup system coordination

Critical Infrastructure Modeling

The project utilized Revit 2020, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP for comprehensive multi-discipline BIM development. Our team delivered LOD 350 models with detailed representation of all building systems, ensuring accurate spatial coordination and providing the foundation for clash-free construction. Special attention was given to HVAC systems for optimal cooling performance, electrical infrastructure for reliable power distribution, and ELV systems for data and communication networks.

Site Infrastructure Integration

Beyond the building envelope, our team developed detailed site infrastructure models to coordinate external utilities, backup power systems, cooling towers, and security installations. This comprehensive approach ensured seamless integration between building systems and site infrastructure, critical for the reliable operation of data center facilities.

Project Outcomes

The detailed BIM models enabled efficient interdisciplinary coordination, identified and resolved potential conflicts before construction, and provided accurate documentation for the complex systems required in mission-critical data center facilities. The clash detection process significantly reduced construction risks and ensured optimal system performance from day one of operations.
